]]>It was a pleasure to work with his amazing photographs, and I'm very pleased with the result. I optimized and tweaked each and every image to squeeze the best possible quality from them for the web (adjusting the levels, sharpening when necessary, adjusting the contrast, etc.), and following Gregory's biggest request: "Make the images as large as possible". We started talking about 4 months ago, but the entire website was built in less than 3 weeks.
The work was completely remote. He was in NYC and I was in Santiago.
]]>No me escucharon mucho, asi que fui y diseñe como pensaba que deberia ser el sitio. Nunca paso nada.
Unos 6 meses despues de eso, fui a comprarme un PowerMac G5, y en GlobalMac me ofrecieron hacerme un descuento a cambio de que yo los ayudara con el sitio web. Lamentablemente no tenian presupuesto para rehacer todo el sitio como se debia, asi que tomando lo que habia, nos dedicamos a ordenarlo.
Este es el sitio actualmente (que cambia casi todos los dias, ya que los mismos tipos de GlobalMac han ido "evolucionando" mi diseño para que cada dia funcione mejor). Quien sabe, quizas algun dia lleguen a lo que tenia en mente.

]]>Zimio es mi nuevo megaproyecto al que le estoy dedicando noche y dia (en ese orden). Este logo fue hecho junto a Sebastián Silva. El Señor Silva hizo la parte del mono mismo, y yo tan solo ejecute en vectores su maravillosa idea, y la parte del texto, son un monton de lineas hechas por mi en Illustrator.

]]>Likuid es la "primera tienda de zapatillas de colección de Chile". La gracia es que traen todos los modelos de marcas como Adidas, Nike, Puma, Gravis, DC Shoe y Onitsuka Tiger que no llegan a Chile. Esa es su especialidad, llenar el vacio.

]]>Justo un par de dias despues de haber hecho esta imagen, me llamaron de una revista chilena llamada Blank pidiendome una imagen original e inedita mia para ser usada en un "spread" de dos páginas en la edición de Primavera (Septiembre). Me contaron que el color de esta edicion era el "verde pasto" (C:100,Y:100), asi que modifique un poco mi imagen original para que funcionara con el color que ellos querian.
Apenas reciba uno de los numeros impresos subire fotos de la ilustración en la revista.

]]>After moving back to Chile, I got more and more involved in the project, and what had been an initial 40 or so templates, turned into over 100 templates.
The project was long, and hasn't even been published yet. But I finished and delivered all the templates in May 2004.
Still waiting for Studio Digital to finish migrating the site to the new templates.
]]>I started talking to IM Trust while living in New York. The project was supposed to be 100% remote work (from New York to Santiago).
I ended up coming back to Santiago, and worked on this project during the summer.
We were supposed to update the logo (I did like 50 variations and it was paid for), but they decided to stick to their old one that's on the website. A non-logo actually.

]]>Un fin de semana nos fuimos a Yalihue, la casa de campo de mi madre, a descansar, comer y dormir. Pablo Gonzalez llevo una camara de video, y desde el camino nos pusimos a filmar. Todo el fin de semana estuvo parada en un tripode, filmando clips de 1 a 5 segundos a intervalos que ibamos modificando. Al final habiamos grabado todo el fin de semana.
En mi PowerBook edite en 8 horas este video, inicialmente solo para ser mostrado en un recital. Los CHC se sentaron, se apagaron las luces, y este video fue proyectado mientras ellos cantaban en vivo.
Los presentes ese fin de semana, todos quienes ayudaron a hacer el video, como actores, directores o camarografos: Nico Arze, Gab Diaz, Hugo Diaz, Carola Roa, Barbara Muller, Susana Claro, Sebastian Silva, Pablo Gonzalez y yo, Leo Prieto. Falta Pedro, el esta presente en la musica.
